Class Project Process
`Standard Project Cycle
Generally for 2D artwork (photography, digital art, printed mixed-media), project intervals occur every 6 weeks. Students pursuing more technical heavy projects (3D animation, modeling, game design, programming-related projects, long-format films, etc.) will still do mid-point presentations, participate in the end of project critiques, and in the creation of a “work in progress” photobook.
Week 1: Research, Proposal, Advisor Meeting
Week 2-3: Open Studio
Week 4: Work-in-Progress Presentations (10 slides, Pecha Kucha Format)
Week 4-5: Open Studio; Submit final exhibition ready prints/work by end of week.
Week 6: Self-Critique, Peer Critique, Project Photobook
